- Ofqual is the independent qualifications regulator for England. We currently regulate 200+ awarding organisations, and approx. 11,600 certified qualifications. These include GCSEs, AS and A levels, and a broad range of vocational and technical qualifications. **Job description**:
More than specific experience, for this new role, we’re looking for someone with good critical thinking skills; a desire to learn; great communication skills and an ability to relate well to others.

We’re looking for someone who is able to see the big picture and relate your work and the work of others to our strategic priorities. We want someone who can pick things up quickly, think clearly about them and work with others to get things done.

As the graduate strategy officer you will:

- Work with colleagues to develop Ofqual’s strategy and strategic plans, helping us work out what our priorities should be, and why.
- Build and maintain systems to make sure our executive team, board and staff are kept up to date with our progress in delivering our strategy, the key risks we manage and the difference we make.
- Manage and contribute to a broad range of projects to deliver the objectives of the Strategy Unit including contributing to Ofqual’s work on innovation and adoption of new technologies in the qualifications market.
