We're looking for a Trainee Buyer (known as Operations Trainee - Purchasing internally here) to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract.

**Purpose of the role is to**
- Source technical components within extremely aggressive deadlines and budgets
- Take accountability for external supply chain performance to meet the agreed costs, quality and delivery targets

**We'll need you to be**:

- Commercially aware

**Success in this role will be if you, under the supervision of your Team Leader**:

- Ensure the programmes are satisfied
- 100% OTIF deliveries
- Learn how to create Purchase Orders and chasing deliveries
- Learn how to manage scheduling and deliveries from the suppliers to HPP
- Learn how to manage suppliers and engage internal Stakeholders
- Eliminate parts shortages, confirming future delivery dates to Build and Programme Management
- Report Purchasing performance KPI's

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
