**Company summery**
We are made up of two companies, a construction & groundworks companies that works all over Herts, Beds, Bucks, Oxfordshire & London. We have a great onsite team and are continuing to expand the companies. Currently all the administration is done by myself (managing director) from my home office and wages done by someone else remotely. Due to continuous expansion, we are now getting an office set up in weedon and are looking for someone to settle into this administrative role.
**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily office operations
- Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Utilise Google Suite for various administrative functions, including document creation and financial tracking.
- Handle phone etiquette with professionalism, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, to ensure easy access to information.
- Assist with clerical duties such as typing correspondence, preparing reports, and scheduling appointments.
- Updating websites
- Liase with site managers & order materials / skips as required
- Monitor office and site supplies and place orders when necessary to maintain stock levels.
**Requirements**:
- Strong clerical skills with a focus on data entry accuracy.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Previous experience in an administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and telecommunication systems is beneficial.
- Good general IT skills to updated websites etc
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.93-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
