Atkinson Moss are delighted to be working with an ambitious Legal 500 law firm, in their search for a Business Development Executive to join the Business Development and Marketing Team. With offices in East Anglia and surrounding areas and an enviable trackrecord advising businesses, institutions, and individuals in the UK and internationally, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, and successful team player.
As Business Development Executive you will support the team by generating informative marketing material to support sector growth. You will also work closely with the firms Lawyers to devise and implement a business development strategy
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Responsibility to work closely with the Sales teams to implement effective BD processes and pipelines across the office, to generate new fees from both existing clients and new prospects.
- Ensure sales targets are in place along with effective follow-up, to move targets through the sales pipeline.
- Provide the BD Manager with sales target management information for monthly board reports
- Working closely with industry sector and practice teams to identify and research potential targets and execute local business development and marketing plans.
- Support with business development for specific practice / sectors, with responsibility for organising the group and maximising marketing and business development opportunities.
- Assisting with the development, implementation, and coordination of Personal Business Development plans for fee earners.
- Creating and updating marketing collateral to reflect the expertise, professionalism and wide knowledge of the firms various divisions.
- Liaising with fee earners to ensure clients and intermediaries have appropriate access to the firm's services and information.
- Improve client retention and opportunities with existing clients to increase customer satisfaction.
- Building new ideas to differentiate the firm in the market place.
- Support other Business Development team members in other office locations.
- Support the Business Development manager on ad-hoc projects as appropriate.
- Strong understanding of Marketing and Business Development and experience, gained within a professional services, legal services or similar industry.
- Proven ability to manage and influence at many levels and comfortable liaising with colleagues working at a senior level.
- Track record of developing and implementing business development and marketing plans resulting in measurable commercial success.
- An analytical mind with the ability to problem solve
- An excellent eye for detail and the ability to write compelling propositions.
- Effective project management skills including the ability to plan ahead and prioritise
- Demonstrating an understanding of the firm's business and marketplace.
- Initiative and a keen interest in self-development
The role is being offered on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis, Monday to Friday with a firm who are second to none in what they do and how they treat their employees.
