We are looking for experienced administrators / co-ordinators to join our team at Southmead Hospital The successful post holder will - Work closely alongside the clinical & non-clinical teams, helping to identify patients who are required for discussion at the weekly Multi Disciplinary Team meetings (MDT). - Be responsible for the collation, collection and inputting of the patient activity data required to monitor and quality assure Cancer services in the trust. - Carry out all administrative duties, in relation to the Cancer MDT Meetings including minute taking and ensuring appropriate records are maintained. If you have excellent attention to detail, strong keyboard / typing skills and the ability to plan and organise your own workload then this could be the role for you. Previous experience of working in the NHS or a hospital environment is desirable but not essential. Please note that as part of this role cross site cover would be required at Southmead Hospital and Western General Hospital. The details of this can be discussed further and in more detail at Interview. The Admin Coordinator is responsible for collating the necessary information for each patient to be presented and discussed on the agenda. The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative queries within Cancer Services. You will be an experienced administrator or secretary with an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. You will need proven keyboard skills and an aptitude for using a variety of IT systems. You will have the ability to process and check large sets of data, running quality checks to identify any gaps in patient records and ensure any missing data is retrieved. You will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a busy, challenging but rewarding environment. You must have a positive “can-do” attitude and be highly motivated to work effectively and efficiently.
