Your new role

Are you experienced in providing Technical IT support? Want to work for an industry leading organisation? If so, this opportunity may be for you.

National Highways are looking to appoint a Technical Support Analyst to provide their office locations with daily onsite support for IT infrastructure, including printers, computers, peripherals and telephone equipment. The role is also pivotal to solvingsystem and/or network issues, implementing new installations, migrations and moves.
What you’ll be leading on
- Perform routine maintenance on computers, monitors, peripherals and digital/IP telephone systems
- Responsible for maintaining accurate documentation of support work performed via, but not limited to, the helpdesk ticketing system
- Local travel to multiple sites will be required
- Maintaining of communications with the client/end user base, external and internal suppliers, throughout scheduled and daily support work activities
- Maintaining updated knowledge of software/hardware to assure the proper implementation and service of client workstations

To be successful
- Experience of delivery of an ICT provision in a customer facing organisation
- Instigating and managing successful internal and external stakeholder engagement to deliver positive benefits for the business
- A solid track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 365
- MCP qualification or equivalent essential
- ITIL V3 foundation certification desired
- Good working knowledge of networking, protocols, structured cabling and associated terminology
- Experience of managing and providing support to operational resources
- Related experience in a similar technical support role within a corporate/professional environment
- Project and Programme Management experience
- Experience of working in a customer facing environment is essential
