Operations Co-ordinator Ftc

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Operations Co-Ordinator FTC to join the Operations team.

They are looking for an experienced Operations Co-Ordinator, with an excellent understanding of VOD platform workflows, ideally with some knowledge of Cloud based workflows too.

The Co-ordinator will ensure their contents’ secure and timely onward delivery to their third-party service providers, such as Playout, Access Services or VOD partners. They use a new platform built in the cloud called, Freeway for their Play platform. Freewayoffers automated workflows which support Compliance editing, Promo creation, Access Services and their Play, linked with their business management platform.

This role will support & rotate across all roles within Operations and be key to collaboration within and outside the team.

- Oversee the management of their content archive & delivery and presence on 3rd party platforms
- Work and maintain strong relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Provide occasional support to Projects that require an Operations input
- Learn & develop both individually and in support of the business goals which include Operational Excellence
- Working in an exciting and innovative Tech & Ops team with ambitious goals
- Have an understanding of their core business and processes where necessary
- A direct impact on the audience through championing and delivering original content to channels

They are looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience in a similar role either within a Broadcaster or media supplier (media delivery, Post-Production, Playout etc.)
- Ideally have working knowledge or experience of Mediagenix -What’s On, or at least detailed experience of an asset/media management platform
- Demonstrable knowledge of video and audio file formats and different types of codecs
- Experience in delivering and packaging content out to third parties, and understanding the various distribution methods such as file acceleration, FTP and Cloud technologies
