To be responsible for the maintaining financial records, creating and processing invoices and financial reporting, including month end.

**Description**

? Complete bank allocations
? Reconciliation of key accounts
? Review of accrued income position for cashflow purposes
? Continual improvement of finance processes and controls
? Review debt position and minimise aged debt
? Raise purchase orders as requested and manage the approval process to allow POs
to be issued in a timely manner
? Managed purchase order approvals, receipt invoices and work with accounts payable
to ensure suppliers are paid on time
? Work with VAT team to ensure sales and purchase invoices are VAT compliant
? Challenge financial information provided by other departments to ensure accuracy of
accounting
? Month end reporting on project work for incorporation into the management accounts
? Post month reporting and reconciliation including business KPIs
? Providing information to external audit as required
? Retention account management and journalling

**Profile**

? Have a high level of attention to detail
? Be confident using different technology systems, in particular google sheet or Excel
? Be analytical and methodical
? Be confident at pushing back when needed and comfortable influencing a range of
business managers
? Be comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload, working well under
your own initiative
