We are looking for an experienced data governance leader with an analytical background to deliver key components including data mapping, management, security and quality, and analytics ensuring a common business language for data within the business.

**THE COMPANY**

This market-leading financial services is undergoing a major digital transformation which demands the expansion of their data capability. The purpose of this position is to lead a team of analysts

**THE ROLE**
- Ensuring a consistent drive towards the standardisation of data governance features
- Support the digital function to inform decision-making
- Implement changes and identify opportunities for improvements
- Define guidelines for tooling related to data governance
- Work cross-functionally with data department leads and IT

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Previous experience in a data governance lead role
- Knowledge of data management tools
- Data analysis background and relevant IT skills
- Proven history of delivering actionable insight within a data environment
- Experience in line managing a team
