Corepeople Recruitment are working exclusively with an organisation based in the North East as they recruit two Community Engagement Coordinators. One is a full-time role, permanent role and one is fixed term for 12 months - Mon-Fri office hours, this is hybrid working to include some home based, some office based and some out and about in the community (the package is a great basic salary and a car or car allowance too, along with a fuel card). The roles have been created to meet the needs of this extremely successful business. Applications are welcome from people living across the North East.

The Role
The purpose of the roles is to facilitate the engagement of the business within both communities and educational settings with the aim of delivering a wide range of engagement projects. They will require visits to schools to deliver presentations to classes, meeting with local community groups and regular visits to a range of construction sites that the business have in operation.

You will build strong relationships with stakeholders that will include site teams, clients and delivery partners in order to plan and organise events. Following each event, you will then be responsible for writing up a case study.

This role offers a great basic salary and a car/car allowance of £5,000 along with a fuel card, laptop, phone and further training and development. The business have a comprehensive benefits hub and Medicash.

Experience & Qualifications
Applications are welcome from people with some experience of business or community engagement and some understanding of the education & community sectors. An understanding of corporate social responsibility would be very useful, along with programme delivery experience.

The role would suit a confident communicator with a good standard of education and the ability to deliver presentations. The confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders and a good understanding of Microsoft Office based packages
