An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Human Resources team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. The role will sit within the Employee Services team to support the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service to members of the HR teams and Trust employees.

The role will provide opportunities to gain practical experience and skills whilst working as a member of a team and achieving nationally recognised qualifications as part of the Apprenticeship framework in Business Administration level 3. The apprenticeship Scheme is run in conjunction with a training provider to ensure that you are supported through a high quality training programme for a 15 month placement. You will be employed on a fixed term contract and are expected to complete the apprenticeship qualification within this time period.

You must have a good standard of education and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional telephone manner. Previous experience of working in a busy administration role in a customer focused environment would be an advantage. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and strong attention to detail are essential to this role.

- To input staff information received from wards and departments via the Trust online forms into the relevant systems, in accordance with the relevant procedures and terms & conditions.
- Input new starters/leavers on the relevant systems, following all local and statutory procedures.
- Carry out appropriate checks to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Provide helpdesk support over the telephone using a customer focus style.
- Issue standard letters as advised. Accuracy and attention to detail is a key for this role
- Support and cover other team members during periods of annual leave and sickness absence
