**IT Portfolio Consultant**

IT Portfolio Consultant / IT Project Management / Change / Demand Management / West Midlands

My market leading and award-winning client, known for being a great place to work is looking for experienced and driven IT Portfolio Consultant join their IT Change team due to continued growth.

The IT Portfolio Consultant will establish, develop and own plans and processes for the IT Portfolio Management service; providing insight and expertise to ensure that IT and business requirements are met.

My client have a blended approach to home / office working at the Warwickshire head office.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, establish and develop processes and plans for a portfolio of IT change, considering IT operations and providing insight and expertise.
- Establish, influence, and monitor the portfolio reporting timetable to provide a full and detailed plan of divisional portfolio change activity.
- Produce, interpret, and present MI to provide insight on the progress of the IT Change Portfolio, presenting and following up on recommendations.
- Consult with IT teams involved in change delivery to provide insight on the portfolio delivery dependencies.
- Perform and oversee project and portfolio health checks in collaboration with IT projects and programmes.
- Ensure all IT Change risk is maintained, assessed, and considered alongside the strategic portfolio risks, assumptions, issues, decisions, and dependencies (RAIDD) for the Portfolio.

**Key Skills and Experience required**:

- Demonstrable experience of working in a similar IT Portfolio Management / Change Management Office
- Experience in IT Project Management and interested in moving into a Portfolio role
- Experience of establishing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel Pivot Tables & data manipulation experience
- Any formal PMO or Project Management qualification i.e. P3O Practitioner, MoP or Prince 2 Practitioner or willingness to work towards is desirable

The salary on offer for this positions is £45,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience plus an excellent benefits package including a market leading bonus scheme and very good group pension scheme to name a few
