Job title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Warwick
Duration: 6 months initially
The Role:
This is a key role within the IT FBP team. The role will support the Business Unit FBP to partner more than one BU. The role is a true business partnering role and will necessitate working closely with a wide variety of stakeholders in IT, the businesses, andtheir finance teams.
Focus is to support driving business value through managing IT performance, both the ongoing run costs and also the full project portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop financial analysis which can lead to the delivery of reduced cost, efficiencies and performance improvement within business area.
- Provide financial management support for the business area.
- Act as a key interface with both the FP&A and Investment Accountant teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of CIO actual costs incurred.
- Support the Finance Business Partner / Stakeholders in interpreting and understanding performance across both project and RTB (covering both regulatory and financial performance).
- Undertaking trend, variance analysis and critical evaluation to drive improved performance.
- Interpret, explain, communicate, drive and hold the business accountable for financial performance.
- Be recognised as a critical and trusted partner for the business. Utilise your financial expertise and business knowledge to provide support to the wider business.
- Actively liaise with US IT Finance colleagues to align approaches to manage and optimise IT performance globally.
- Support the FBP in the review and management of budgeting and forecasting activities and work with Corporate Finance to ensure budget and forecast updates are provided accurately and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for coordination of forecast data across the CIO team.
- Continually seek to drive improvements in process and the use of technology to drive improved business outcomes. Work across the finance function to ensure that processes deliver as expected and are optimised on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure proper support to meet business requirements of financial and non-financial controls.
**Requirements**:

- An ability to work collaboratively with business partners yet to constructively challenge will be valued.
- Possess significant experience of reporting financial information, experience of investment appraisal analysis.
- Ability to influence and work as part of a virtual team.
- Proven experience of planning, forecasting and budgeting.
- Confident in stakeholder management and working across teams to deliver objectives.
- Experience in supporting commercial decisions with relevant financial information.
- SAP and MS Office experience.
- Be prepared to travel to sites on adhoc basis.
- The ability to influence and impact the decisions and financial performance of stakeholders and their teams throughout the relevant business area. Strong communication skills.
- Sound commercial skills
- Proactively maintaining continued professional development under relevant accountancy body or other recognised professional development
