**Job Description**:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join us in Cambridge, where you will provide administration and coordination support to the Buildings and Places Eastern Region.

Our Eastern Region consisting of offices in Cambridge, Peterborough and Norfolk provide Project and Cost Management services for construction frameworks and capital projects across the Health, Defence, Education and Life Science sectors.

Through our work in the UK Defence sector, as the successful applicant you will have active SC clearance or the eligibility to gain SC clearance.

Within this position you will support the Project Management function, ensure the smooth management of day-to-day affairs, and most effective use of time. You will handle sensitive and complex issues in a professional and objective manner, whilst also taking initiative as appropriate especially in the Director’s absence. As the Project Coordinator you may also be required to work in conjunction with the Office Manager and Office Lead.

This is a broad role that undertakes a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to the following main responsibilities.

Main responsibilities

+ Day-to-day administrative support to selected Project Managers and Project Directors.

+ Proactively support project managers across the team’s project portfolio

+ Proactively coordinate project personnel on their deliverables against milestones

+ Support in the production of fee proposals and internal cost information through the use of MS Excel to deliver positive finance results.

+ Support teams to ensure the smooth running of projects and support in areas such as completing minutes, coordinating trackers, preparing MS Powerpoint and PM deliverables.

+ Have a role in reporting, analysing, and communicating to our external project teams and respond to client requirements.

+ Implement and maintain QS and working processes and standards to drive high quality compliance.

+ Coordinate best practice and lessons learned for the Eastern regions project management service.

+ Help create a positive team atmosphere and environment.
