Based at: Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire
Hours of work: 07:15 to 16:15 Monday to Friday & 08:00 to 12:00 Saturday (1 in 2 rota).
Job purpose summary:
To lead and oversee the yard team to ensure all Yard and warehouse duties, procedures
and tasks are being carried out and completed accurately and efficiently. Working with the
yard team, supporting, and coaching them, maintaining a high level of customer service,
and ensuring all company procedures and policies are being adhered to. Working closely
with the management team and transport manager to maximise vehicle efficiency.
Maintaining excellent communication with the sales and management teams to facilitate
continuity between the departments. Managing yard and warehouse products to ensure
adequate and accurate stock levels and safeguard the stock from damage and theft.
Make certain the yard and warehouse areas remain health and safety compliant, and any
issues are reported to the management team. Ensure FLT checks are carried out before
releasing them for operation each day and completed checks are submitted at the end of
each week. Carry out any reasonable request from the management team.
Required skills:
Forklift licence required.
Strong leadership skills.
Previous experience in a merchant, retail &/or warehouse environment
preferred.
alary: £21,950 pa to £27,300 pa depending on
experience.
