A large UK based Charity, with their HQ in Central London, is looking for a new, hybrid, Deputy Payroll Manager to join the team on a Permanent Basis to help supervise a team of 4.

**Description**
- Support the Payroll Manager in delivering timely and accurate payrolls and distributing payroll outputs, payments, and submissions on a timely basis, in accordance with the agreed timetables and in compliance with statutory legislation and deadlines.
- Deputise for the Payroll Manager in their absence, to ensure an uninterrupted service delivery.
- Be responsible for managing the Payroll Assistant Team, managing their workload, and recommending new efficiencies whilst keeping the team up to date.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager, Payroll Assistants, HR People Support and HR Systems Team to regularly review payroll inputs and outputs to ensure an efficient flow of information while maintaining appropriate controls.
- Ensure the resolution of over and underpayments using effective communication with employees and line managers, in keeping with the Overpayment Policy.
**Profile**
- Strong experience of working in a similar role operating payroll systems of significant scale in a large and complex organisation.
- Good previous experience of operating payrolls with different statutory regulations in UK, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey, and with payees posted overseas.
- Strong up to date knowledge of relevant payroll legislation including pensions auto-enrolment.
- Associate (or above) CIPP membership.
