EI band 7 Clinical Lead Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Early Intervention in Psychosis service based in East and Central Cheshire.

We are looking to recruit a clinical lead who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and who provides confident support and leaderships to clients and staff. Good communication skills, an ability to work in partnership with service users and carers and act to safeguard clients where appropriate are essential qualities. In addition to conducting specialist assessments, you will carry a small caseload providing early intervention evidence-based interventions for service users experiencing first episode psychosis. As clinical lead you will deputise for the team leader, provide mentoring and support for team members and implement, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the clinical standards within the team.

You will lead the team in the assessment of needs alongside the development & implementation of recovery-based care for young people and their families experiencing the early stages of psychosis.

You will be an enthusiastic, adaptable and highly motivated practitioner with a keen interest in the EI model and guidelines. You will be part of a well-established multidisciplinary team and play a key role in ensuring the support offered to clients is in keeping with the National waiting time and early intervention standards.

You will be able to take on the challenges of managing a caseload, conducting specialist assessments, supporting and supervising colleagues and be committed to the 6 Cs, team working and trauma informed care.

You will have the opportunity to take part in specialist training and receive regular supervision in a supportive environment.
