Assistant Clinical Lead

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Clinical Lead to work within the Cheshire & Merseyside Supervision Hub team.

The Supervision Hub is a newly developed innovative service that supports standardisation of supervision across the Step 2 and Step 3 NHS Talking Therapies workforce within the Cheshire and Merseyside region.

The Supervision Hub team offers clinical supervision to both trainee and qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) and High Intensity Therapists (HITs). The next stage in the Supervision Hub’s evolution is to develop pathways and to strengthen the numbers of non-CBT modality trained therapists across the system by increasing the supervision provision.

To take a strategic lead for Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) working within the organisational strategy and broad policies in the development and implementation of the NHS Talking Therapies Supervision Hub on behalf of the Cheshire and Merseyside ICS.

To deliver supervision to EMDR therapists and to ensure that the service provision works in effective partnership with the relevant internal and external stakeholders in relation to the NHS Talking Therapies Supervision Hub.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
