We have a full-time, 2 year fixed term vacancy for a Business Support Assistant whose core focus will be to support the work of our frontline practitioners in the Early Help Hub/Multi Agency Referral Unit and Care Management Centre; enabling them to achieve the best outcomes and prioritise direct work with children and families and ensure timely communications with service users and partner agencies. The post holder will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 08.45 - 17.15 & Friday’s 08.45 - 16.45.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team, supporting children and families across the county through the delivery of high-quality business support services. Duties will involve a range of tasks including the monitoring of admin mailboxes and the distribution of correspondence and referrals. The role may also include, records management, meeting administration and detailed recording of complex meetings within strict timescales, financial transactions and input of information to the Case Management System.
Due to our evolving ways of working, the role may require you to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations). We work flexibly to most effectively support the people, services and organisations that we support and will discuss this with you during the recruitment process. There will be a requirement to assist with the delivery of business support within our core business hours, Monday - Thursday 08.45 - 17.15 & Friday’s 08.45 - 16.45.
**About You (Skills, Knowledge, qualifications etc.)**
Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C), or equivalent, including English and Maths, excellent keyboard skills and significant experience of general office procedures.
This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
