We are seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support the Recruitment team in the onboarding of a high volume of applicants across the Trust. There will be an opportunity to join the International Recruitment team, so an in-date passport is a must.

The recruitment team are responsible for the attraction, interviewing and On-Boarding of all new SECAmb employees, as well as managing internal progression within the Trust.

The Recruitment Coordinator position is a vital part of the team, responsible for the compliance process associated with recruitment as well as ensuring that all new joiner information is available to our payroll team and that an accurate staff record is made available on the Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
- A DBS check will be required for anyone new to the Trust or internal employees who have not needed a DBS for their role previously. The check will be done prior to interview.
- Completing the required pre-employment checks for new starters within a given remit in line with the NHS employment check standards
- Ensure that all new joiners are accurately inputted into the Electronic Staff Record (ESR)
- Creation of personnel files held on Sharepoint
- Assisting the Recruitment Team Leaders in the monthly transfer of information for payroll to include new staff joiner forms, staff change forms and inter authority transfers (IATs)
- Ensuring accuracy of the information provided on all forms before processing
- Answering outlook communications via the central recruitment inbox

Based in the Recruitment Centre, the Recruitment Coordinator manages and coordinates pre employment checks and the issue of conditional offers of employment for vacancies across the Trust. Delivering a service by ensuring the provision of a high quality, cost effective standard for the Trusts recruitment and selection process.

To offer provisional start dates to operational new starters based on them fulfilling pre-employment checks to the Trust’s standard.

Ensuring that accurate information is passed to our HR Service Centre in relation to new joiners.
