Carmaxx Ltd is currently looking for an experienced auto electrician to join our busy workshop.

To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated with the ability to work through technical and difficult problems, with mínimal supervision. You will need to be an expert in fault diagnosis with a first-time fix approach towards automotive repairs.

Our recently acquired workshop requires an automotive mechanic with experience in running a busy workshop with a wide variety of work, servicing, mot repairs including welding, mechanical/electrical diagnostics and repairs including engine rebuilds while also incorporating low level of automotive modifications.
- visually checks, test drives or uses test equipment to diagnose engine and mechanical faults.
- removes, dismantles, repairs and replaces defective parts and prepares new parts using appropriate tools.
- reassembles, tests, adjusts and tunes the appropriate parts, systems or entire engines.
- carries out routine maintenance checks on oil and air filters, brakes and other vehicle parts/systems.
- repairs and services air conditioning, heating and engine-cooling systems.
- Proficient in automotive repairs and overhauls.
- Ability to maintain workshop in a safe manner.
- Order and maintain stock of repair parts and their inventory.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
