Motor Vehicle Lecturer

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Student Engagement**: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and skill development. Provide support and guidance to students to enhance their learning experience and facilitate their academic and professional growth.
- **Curriculum Development**: Contribute to the development and review of motor vehicle engineering curriculum, learning materials, and assessments to ensure alignment with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
- **Assessment and Feedback**: Design and administer assessments, examinations, and practical evaluations to accurately measure students' understanding and competency in motor vehicle mechanics. Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their performance and achieve their learning goals.
- **Industry Engagement**: Maintain strong links with the motor vehicle industry to stay updated on industry developments, trends, and best practices. Collaborate with industry partners to enhance the relevance of the curriculum, facilitate work placements, and organize guest lectures and industry visits for students.
- **Administrative Duties**: Complete administrative tasks related to teaching, including course planning, student attendance monitoring, record-keeping, and assessment moderation. Adhere to institutional policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards to ensure academic integrity and compliance.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification or accreditation in motor vehicle mechanics or automotive technology (e.g., ASE certification) preferred.
- Previous experience in teaching, training, or lecturing in motor vehicle engineering or related field.
- Comprehensive knowledge of motor vehicle systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in using educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.

**Salary**: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
