A long-standing retail business based in M17 are looking to hire an experienced credit controller to join their team.

**About the Credit Controller Job**
- Invoicing according to current procedures at daily, weekly and monthly intervals.
- Resolving queries and chasing debts
- investigating, logging and resolving disputes to given time-frames.
- Running month end procedures and general ledger management.
- Sole credit controller of 1250+ accounts including dealing with multiple self-bill accounts, national and independent accounts.
- Taking over the phone payments and BACS for UK, Europe and ROW.
- Credit limit monitoring and updating.
- Credit risk checking and opening of accounts.
- Beginning to end processing of claims, insurance or CCJ.
- Weekly and monthly reporting duties including checking and issuing aged debtors reports.
- Weekly reconciliation of national accounts to produce timely invoices.

**Experience required for Credit Controller Job**
- At least three years’ experience in credit control or a similar role.
- Knowledge of software such as sage, credit safe and dexterity (or any similar warehouse/accounting software).
- Excellent communication skills both orally and written.
- Ability to work on own workload and independently, while liaising with other departments.
