Joining us as a Community Development Officer based in Stockbridge, Knowsley, you will work to design, develop and deliver services and projects which enhance the wellbeing of our customers and support us to deliver the aims of our Wellbeing Strategy.

Working creatively and with innovative methods to design and deliver projects on the ground, you will make a difference to the lives of our customers by working alongside them and finding and responding to their personal and community development needs,acting as the focal point for activity within the directorate whilst maintaining strong links with the partner organisations operating in the locality.

You will be skilled at building relationships with individuals based on trust and common aims, that encourage active participation in projects. You must develop and maintain a detailed, up to date knowledge base of legislation, funding and good practice.You will also be required to support the delivery, management and evaluation of projects which make it clear how what we delivers makes a real impact to communities.
