This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

**In a nutshell**

**What you need to do**
- Run, manage and socialise the CSAT programme across the bank
- Plan, manage and support research activities
- Use appropriate research methods depending on product, service, stage of product lifecycle
- Analyse and synthesise results to translate findings into actionable insights
- Understand the design process and how to support the various stages
- Support Experience Designers, Digital Product Managers, Content and Journey Editors in the creation, validation and prioritisation of vision, roadmaps and backlogs
- Analyse different kinds of data to form an understandable picture of customers
- Regular reporting of KPI and customer metrics
- Act as an ambassador of User Research best practice and help the wider community understand the behavioural usage of our products and services
- Use research output to communicate how products and services will be perceived by users
- Present user insights to project stakeholders at all levels
- Support Experience Designers to analyse customer journey data to identify areas for improvement within existing customer journeys, produce recommendations and project manage implementation
- Working collaboratively with our agencies and 3rd party tech vendors to create briefs, plan, manage and support research activities
- Analyse and interrogate date and translate into actionable insights for the business and Digital team
- Provide advice to Customer and Commercial teams on Customer Experience and User Research
- Influencing and presenting to stakeholders

**What you need to know and show**
- Proven success conducting user research in a large-scale software platform setting, or equivalent.
- Experience working at all stages of the product development process is highly desirable, as this will help the user researcher to prioritize research activities and proactively identify important areas in the designs which will require user research guidance
- Experience working closely with designers and developers, to drive effective user research
- Must be comfortable with high-level of ambiguity
- Experience with heuristic approaches
- A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: study plans, reports).
