We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a **Referral Administrator / Receptionist**at** Bristol Vet Specialists.**

**Location**:Bristol

**Contract**:Permanent

**Hours**:40 hours per week

**Shift Pattern**:Monday - Friday with a rota of early or late shifts between the hours of 07.30 - 20.00 with a share in the weekend rota (1 in 6)

**About the role**:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

- Answering phones and booking referral appointments
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

**What we're looking for in our Referral Administrator / Receptionist**:

- **Previous Receptionist experience is desirable**, veterinary experience is a plus
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
