Eidyn Care is seeking **compassionate and experienced Support Workers** in **Edinburgh** to support **children with Autism and Learning Disabilities**. We offer flexible roles - whether you're looking for full-time hours, part-time shifts, or bank work.

This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to **Scotland's GIRFEC (Getting It Right For Every Child)** approach and are passionate about delivering care that promotes **wellbeing, safety, and positive outcomes** for children.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver person-centred support tailored to each child's needs
- Encourage communication, independence, and emotional resilience
- Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in daily routines
- Work in partnership with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams
- Follow care plans and contribute to ongoing assessments and reviews
- Support the principles of **GIRFEC**, ensuring the wellbeing indicators (SHANARRI) are central to care

**Requirements**:

- Experience supporting **children with Autism and Learning Disabilities**:

- ** SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent - or currently working towards it**:

- Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and GIRFEC principles
- Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
- Registered or eligible for registration with the **SSSC**
