Joinery Administration Assistant

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the efficient operation of the joinery office
- Active participation in office management, including handling all general clerical tasks
- Communicating with Customers and Suppliers
- Raising Supplier Purchase Orders, Customer Invoices and producing accurate project data
- Management of the Joinery supplier database - liaising with suppliers to keep pricing and delivery times up to date
- Providing general administrative support to the Joinery Manager
- Providing reports to the Workshop Foreman and Joinery Manager
- Offer assistance to the other departments including accounting, procurement and contract management
- Supporting the Joinery leadership team
- Respond and resolve administrative queries quickly and efficiently
- Answering phone calls
- Maintaining filing system
- Perform other related duties when required
**Anticipated/ Aspirational Qualifications/Experience/Technical knowledge**:
- Proven administration experience in a fast pace environment
- Excellent knowledge of clerical procedure and systems
- Proficient use of the MS Office
- Excellent organisational skills
- Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Supply Management and Inventory Control
- Excellent reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Being able to work flexibly
- At least 2 years experience of administrative duties in a manufacturing environment (preferably wood manufacture but not essential)
