As an Assistant Clinical Psychologist within our 0-18 Child and Young Person Mental Health (CYPMH) team, you'll play a pivotal role in assessing, and treating a range of mental health conditions affecting children and adolescents.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Comprehensive Assessments**: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to understand the underlying causes of mental health difficulties and develop tailored treatment plans.
**Therapeutic Interventions**: Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR and Family Therapy, to help children and young people overcome challenges and develop coping skills.
**Consultation and Collaboration**: Work closely with parents, carers, teachers, and other professionals involved in the child's life to ensure a holistic approach to their care.
**Research and Development**: Contribute to the advancement of child and adolescent mental health by participating in research projects and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical developments.
