Assistant Psychologist

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Psychologist to work within our Rehabilitation Service as part of our psychology team. The service consists of two rehabilitation wards: Maple ward and Rosewood ward. Maple is an all-male ward and Rosewood caters for both male and female patients. Experience in working in this type of environment would be preferred.
We are looking for applicants who have some experience of working with people with mental health difficulties and who can demonstrate their
compassion and optimism for the rehabilitation and recovery of this client group.

The assistant psychologist role will involve supporting and enhancing the psychological care of service users, providing psychological assessment
and psychological interventions (individual and group) under clinical supervision.
Additional aspects of the role will include clinical administration, audit, and data collection.
Applicants are required to have achieved a degree in psychology which confers Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership of the British Psychological Society.
People that would be suited to this role include people want to work as part of a wider team, engage in service development, want to work with people with complex mental health difficulties, and are highly self-reflective.
