We are currently recruiting for a permanent Reservations Agent to join our Central Reservations team to play a vital role in the successful growth and development of the company. Lamington Group is a family-run company in Hammersmith, which operates both short & long-let apartments and are the founders of room2, the world's first hometel brand.

This role will function across both our Lamington and room2 brands, managing reservations across properties in London and Southampton.

Primarily you will take responsibility for inbound reservation enquiries, dealing with agents and guests, hosting property show-arounds, chasing and converting enquiries and some invoicing. As a small but growing business, you will also help the guest experience team ensure guests have truly memorable and seamless stays, supporting across front desk duties when needed.

A 'day in the life'
- Utilisation of sales CRM to input enquiry details and logged for follow up
- Responding to inquiry requests via agent portals
- Understanding of client needs to meet requirements and up-selling where possible
- Daily reservation checks to ensure accuracy of pricing, travel agent details, company details and market segments of all new reservations
- Inquiry/extension follow up, conversion and tracking
- Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents
- Group block loading, pricing adjustments and new reservation point of contact
- Daily agent invoicing and commission checks
- Management of rooms timeline, controlling inventory and availability
- Guest experience team support when required, including lunch breaks and absences
- Strong knowledge of product; rooms, features, amenities along with clients, regular guests, services, rates and cancellation terms.

About you:

- Experience working in a fast-paced reservations environment in Hotel or Serviced Accommodation
- A solid understanding of reservation management
- Sound computer skills including experience using Property Management Systems, ideally MEWS & Sales Force
- Great telephone manner and ability to converse comfortably with a broad range of guests and individual
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, always looking to improve
- Excellent command of English and a confident communicator (verbal, listening, writing)
- Good ability to work with different teams
- Strong initiative and decision-making skills
- A natural drive to sell, every enquiry is an opportunity

Time & Place

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
