We're looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic and proactive person who has experience of planning, delivery and securing of events to work in a state-of-the-art contemporary facility. If you enjoy working with people and have the desire and drive to improve we would like to hear from you.

Derby Arena is an iconic event space that has developed an innovative and varied event portfolio since opening in 2015. From televised sports events to pantomimes, gigs and comedy shows there is a wide variety of events to host. In addition we offer corporate packages including, track cycling, meeting rooms, exhibition space and award dinners.

The Event Co-ordinator will lead and manage their own events and assist the Events and Conferencing Assistant Manager with strategic business planning to enhance the delivery of events. You will be a skilled relationship manager and enjoy working with a range of clients to attract more events moving forward. This will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders, identifying new business opportunities, and developing innovative event concepts to drive revenue growth and exceed client expectations.

You should ideally possess an event management qualification and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Health and Safety within this environment.

Please note this role does include working evening, weekends and overnights.

Interviews will be held during week commencing Monday 2nd June 2025 with an aim to provide a start date of around Monday 7th July 2025
