Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a **Veterinary Receptionist at our practice Haven Vets.**

**Location: Great Yarmouth**

**Contract: 6 months fixed term**

**Hours: 38.63**

**Shift Pattern:Monday to Friday between the hours 8am-7pm on a rotation basis + 1 in 4 saturdays**

**About the role**:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:

- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice

**What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist**:

- **Previous Receptionist experience is essential**, veterinary experience is a plus
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
