Working in this hybrid working role (on average 3 days in the office) you will work within the Development Test Team as part of a group of Testers responsible for testing all business and operational products developed for/in use within the firm.

You will be involved in all aspects of Test Management, including estimating, test plans, test execution and reporting for all functional and non-functional testing and will work as part of a team focused on driving towards Agile delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work with Business and Technology and influence based on a risk-based approach to testing.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Lead the team to define testing needs, approach, plans, schedules & execution.
- Develop and build relationships across the team and beyond.
- Resolve problems and blockers as they occur with peers and help unlock junior members of the team. Follow through on details and drive issues to closure.
- Lead by example in areas of test management, planning & cost control.
- Management of the test delivery of assigned resources, including work scheduling and execution.
- Collaborate, communicate & work effectively with geographically distributed cross-functional teams and managed service personnel.
- Review & oversee test execution, including the creation and sharing of metrics to track progress against agreed targets.
- Define, develop and maintain artefacts such as test plan, test reports or knowledge documentation.
- Drive for continuous improvement in test process within an emerging agile team.

**Experience we are seeking**:

- Experience within a test function, including responsibility for test team delivery for functional and non-functional (performance and operational acceptance) testing.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum SDLC practices & tools with the ability to articulate the value of Agile.
- Experience using a formal Test Management tool such as Azure DevOps (TFS), Jira or QC/ALM.
- Effective & strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to motivate.
- A self-learner with a passion to learn new technologies & test practices.
- Pragmatic & results orientated.
- Experience in testing against various environments such as Windows, Web, Hardware etc.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain oversight on multiple Test projects running in parallel.
- Experience in building & maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.
- Strong investigative skills with keen attention to detail.
