As a Barclays Business Oversight Compliance Private Bank Manager, you will support the coverage of the Private Bank, with exposure to investments, banking and credit. You will work with a team of expert colleagues in supporting the Private Bank businessproviding business oversight advice and challenge, as well as representing Compliance in meetings and project forums.

**Working Flexibly**
**What will you be doing?**:

- Helping the Private Bank UK Business Oversight Compliance team with designated accountabilities for the day-to-day business oversight compliance responsibilities
- Providing effective second line 'check and challenge' to assist Private Bank businesses in meeting its conduct and regulatory obligations
- Reviewing of product documentation and offering material
- Working on regulatory programmes affecting the businesses
- Assisting in ensuring a robust product governance environment in line with regulatory requirements through attending internal business meetings and working groups
- Keeping abreast of all relevant new regulatory developments, and working with the business and/or project teams to interpret their impact and deliver key changes
- Leading compliance support in the interpretation and implementation of new regulation
**What we're looking for**:

- Experience in business oversight/ regulatory advisory roles in one or more of the following areas: Investment, Banking and /or Credit
- Technical regulatory expertise in areas including FCA COBs, MiFID II and PSR
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Legal or Business related degree or proven experience in the regulatory advisor area
- Experience gained within the Legal or Compliance or Control departments of an investment bank, asset management, private bank or wealth manager
- Professional qualifications would be an advantage
