Senior Support Workers & Support Workers - Children's EBD Homes, Oldham
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives? We're hiring both **Senior Support Workers** and **Support Workers** to join our dedicated team in Oldham. You'll provide therapeutic support to children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high standard of care in a supportive environment, with a consistent rota that promotes work-life balance.
Your Role:
- **Both Roles**: You'll play a vital part in implementing and following **person-centred care plans**, ensuring high-quality therapeutic support. You'll work closely with the management team to create a nurturing environment.
- **Senior Support Workers (Team Leaders)**: In addition to direct care, you'll **lead shifts** and **mentor colleagues**, guiding the team to deliver exceptional support.
What We Offer:
- **Competitive Pay**:
- **Senior Support Worker**: £14.50 - £15.50 per hour
- **Support Worker**: £13.63 - £14.20 per hour
- **Generous Sleep-in Rate**: £55 per sleep-in
- **Consistent Rota**: Enjoy a full-time, permanent contract with a predictable **2 days on, 4 days off** shift pattern (including sleep-ins).
What You'll Bring:
- **Qualification**: An **NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People** is required for both roles.
- **Experience**: Relevant experience in a similar environment supporting children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
- **Driving Licence**: A **Driving Licence is a plus**.
