**Job Title: Male Waking Nights Support Worker**
**Location: West Heath, Birmingham B31**
**Salary: £9.60 - £9.90 per hour depending on qualification**

**Hours: Waking Nights, 10pm - 7am, full and part time available**

**The Role**

Working overnight, you will be there to provide emotional and physical support when needed to individual adults who have learning disabilities, Autism and mental health issues. This could be providing emotional support during a crisis, to have a chat over a cup of tea, to help them out of bed or just be a friendly face to give reassurance. You will also ensure the person is safe and well and the property is secure.
- Support with morning routines such as dressing, washing, and cooking, whilst promoting independent living.
- Cleaning and tidying and carrying out checks on safety and risks.
- Administering medication as required.
- Provide personal care.
- Ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the persons right to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.

- Good sense of humour in sometimes difficult situations.
