**Job Summary**

This post is for a Thursday and Friday, no school holidays.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
- Provide high-quality childcare by ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery.
- Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
- Support children in their daily routines, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning and play.
- Observe and document children's progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere focused on the best outcomes for children.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- A background in early childhood education or related field is an advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A genuine passion for childcare and supporting children's development.
- Ability to drive may be beneficial for transportation purposes but is not essential.
- Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £13.05 per hour
