The ONE Group are delighted to be exclusively partnered with a leading finance lender into the UK agriculture industry. This is a cracking opportunity, enabling you to work alongside an ambitious entrepreneur and the existing experienced team as they scalethe business.

Backed by a major US fund and UK Fund Manager with ambitious plans, they are in need someone who can facilitate rapid growth. The Managing Director is proven within this field having created and sold a similar business in the past. You will be working withsomeone who knows what good practice looks like whilst being able to put your stamp on the finance function itself.

Reporting to & working closely with the Managing Director; this role is not only about keeping solid financial control, but supporting the businesses ambitious growth plan's and continued profitability. You'll be a critical friend to the business and beable to offer objective analysis at senior management level.

We are seeking a qualified Head of Finance to create an in-house Finance Function, removing the need to outsource.

This is a hands on position, taking full ownership of the function.

Duties include;
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Oversee cash flow management
- Manage budgeting and forecasting process
- Develop relationships with external advisors
- Liaise with external auditors
- Deliver on HMRC reporting and Fund Reporting
- Complete VAT returns
- Review spending against budget
- Present year end accounts
- Undertake cost-benefit analysis for financial opportunities
- Management of the day to day running of the Loan and Lease Portfolio
