An excellent opportunity has arisen within a rapidly expanding Telecommunications business in Cambridge for a Head of Transactional Finance. The Head of Transactional Finance will have overall responsibility for the Shared Services ensuring their excellentstandards as well as driving projects and implementing key strategy across the function and business working closely with senior leadership in the business and operate in a strong working environment.

**Description**

The Head of Transactional Finance will be responsible for:

- Be a key driver of function excellence and strategy implementation across the business
- Lead a high performing team, driving team culture and ensuring the future of the function is consistently at the forefront
- Management of internal and external controls; supporting audits as required
- Drive consistent improvements across the function, cost efficiency's and system developments
- Monitoring of KPIs to ensure that delivery and service level standards are meet and exceeded
- Ensuring strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Be the escalation point for AP and AR for EMEA if required
- Ensure a supportive working environment for the team
- Ensuring that all actions and policies adhere to a compliance framework

**Profile**
- Be able to demonstrate a strong history of team leadership, providing strong examples of shaping the team and mentoring their development
- Strong systems knowledge, confident in supporting system and project implementations as required
- Experience in managing a functional shared services environment, or equivalent transactional finance department
- Be confident working in a fast paced and developing environment
- Excellent communication abilities, with both the team as well as internal and external stakeholders
