**The Role**
**KEY TASKS**
- To be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility.
- To have a positive attitude with regards to The Woodcote Day Nursery.
- To recognise each family as individuals upon enquiring at the nursery, ensuring they have all information needed to complete booking.
- Provide a positive front of house service. Ensuring all visitors follow procedures of ID checks, signing in and not being left alone.
- To develop excellent communication with parents/carers, always ensuring that you make them feel welcome at all times in a professional and positive manner.
- To adhere to the Policies and Procedures of The Natural Childcare Company Ltd. To be aware and continually work towards Ofsted requirements.
- Ensuring reception area is clean and tidy.
- To be supportive to parents/carers of children with additional needs in order to achieve full integration within the setting.
- To ensure that the duty of care to the children is of paramount importance at all times and confidentiality is maintained alongside. This is to be fully aware of the settings Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and Procedure.
- To be responsible for the Health and Safety of the setting whilst at work. This includes being fully aware and competent of accident and incident forms, completion of risk assessments within your room and setting as a whole and maintaining an awareness of Safeguarding at all times.
- To be aware of all emergency and security procedures e.g. fire drill, collection of children routines etc.
- To take responsibility of all resources and equipment used within the setting. This includes correct and careful usage, safe storage, maintenance, cleaning/sterilising and reporting any broken items to the designated health and safety officer and in their absence the setting Manager.
- Nursery’s filing, ordering of stationary, ensuring GDPR regulations are met, first of month rereports, social media, enquiries, bookings, contracts, chasing fees
- To be responsible for manager the children's booking system, updating attendance records and sending out parent invoices.
- To be responsible to uploading receipts to the online system.
