This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to join the award-winning BD team of a leading international law firm, to assist the delivery of a comprehensive BD service to the Real Estate and Banking and Finance teams.

You will be part of a Business Development team that is already well-established within the firm and which is respected by partners and other fee-earners for its high standards of service and the ideas and commitment it brings to business development activities.The role will sit within the firm's BD, Marketing and Communications team and will assist the Senior BD Manager in formulating and delivering the business development and marketing strategy for Real Estate, prioritising activities that deliver revenue growth,and will also work closely with partners and lawyers within the Banking and Finance practice to drive profitable revenue growth, strengthen client relationships and enhance the brand and profile of the function both in the UK and across Europe. It is expectedthat the Assistant Business Development Manager will invest time connecting with clients, particularly with Real Estate intermediaries and key clients, and will build a deep understanding of the firm's markets and client base. Operating with the support ofthe wider BD and marketing team, you will play a key role in implementing the Real Estate and Banking business plans, supporting the delivery of BD, client and profile raising initiatives. The successful applicant's key duties will include strategic targetingof key intermediaries and client relationships; supporting the bids process; proactively conducting market research and analysis; developing thought leadership campaigns; and working with the Events team to create networking and insight led events, roundtablesand client forums.

You will be able to demonstrate an outstanding track record of delivering business development advice and of working directly with fee earners. Commercially aware and strategically savvy, the Assistant Business Development Manager will possess a high levelof personal credibility, impact and influence and a proven ability to work effectively and persuasively at all levels of an organisation.
