**We Belong is a migrant youth-led charity based in London and Manchester. We Belong exists to ensure young migrants living in the UK are treated equally and fairly in the society they call home. We Belong works with and for young migrants to hold those in power to account and fight for wider reform. This role is crucial as we implement our recent policy win on the ten-year route to settlement and work to identify any further issues young people are facing.**

As a Finance and Operations Lead at We Belong, you will support the organisation's mission and have responsibility for managing our financial systems and processes for the London and Manchester offices, as well as supporting the operations of the organisation, particularly in the Manchester office. Your role will be essential in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures, and providing financial information to support decision-making. You will work closely with the CEO, Operations Manager, and other staff members to maintain the financial stability and sustainability of We Belong.

The Finance and Operations Lead will be responsible for the organisation’s Manchester premises; researching and then maintaining the office space to ensure a safe and effective working environment for the team; administering efficient HR practices to ensure support and compliance. The role will provide the operational security that essential processes and practices are in place for the organisation to thrive.

Although this is an extension of our London office, the Manchester team will have its own needs and culture to expand upon. The Finance and Operations Lead will be expected to lead by example and create a safe space for staff and young people to go to.

**If successful, the applicant will be joining an award-winning youth charity and a staff team dedicated to improving outcomes for young migrants between the ages of 16-25 years old and empowering young people to create change.**
