Lead Business Analyst

We're open on where you can work. All we ask is that you are able to commute to the office on average 2 days a month. But if you'd like to come to the office more, then this is fine also. Your office location will be Knutsford.

**What will I be responsible for?**

Joining our team as a Lead Business Analyst, you will report to the Program Manager and will work closely with and support the change delivery team to drive and facilitate business change for both operational process and IT systems. Other duties include:

- Liaising with business experts to ensure that the change deliverable meets requirements and is fit for purpose
- Documentation of clear, detailed system specifications
- Management and mentoring of other Business Analysts within team
- Requirements gathering from all business areas.
- Detailed documentation of Functional Specification
- System Test and manage the UAT of changes from 3rd parties and in house development to ensure that they satisfy business requirements
- Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Work closely with the development team to ensure system design and delivery accurately meets business requirements.
- Provide training to users and/or trainers
- Review and improve Project and Business processes to provide business benefit.

**Who are we looking for?**

As the ideal Lead Business Analyst, you will have extensive end-to-end experience of IT system projects and changes along with being fully conversant in implementation and handover of delivered projects into Business-as-Usual operations. You will also possess:

- Proven ability to problem-solve with an analytical mindset
- Financial Services industry experience
- Jira software experience
- Evidence of experience in a Business Analysis role within an IT Development environment.
- Experience working within and excellent understanding of full software development lifecycle
- Experience within a of Prince2 environment
- MS Project and Project Planning in a software development environment.
- Experience of change management
- Experience of dealing and communicating with people from all levels of the business.
- Certified ISEB/BCS Business Analyst
