**Job Summary**

Got a passion for Angling? Do you also have a passion for writing and have experience working in retail? If so then Glasgow Angling Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our e-commerce team based in Glasgow.

In your role as Digital Marketing Assistant, you will work as part of a cross-functional IT team in a modern, success driven environment that is at the forefront of online retail. The primary focus of the role is Content Marketing, so we are looking for an individual who is willing to adapt and learn new skills which will ultimately help increase the visibility of our products and brand online. To achieve, this you will need to have angling experience and be able to create compelling written and visual content that focuses on our customer's needs and questions.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Help increase the visibility of Fishingmegastore product listings in the search engines.
- Generating, researching and writing engaging content for blog, website, products and social media.
- Optimise new and existing product listings for the Fishingmegastore website
- Create web graphics and banners for blogging and social media
- Research and identify new topics and articles to promote brand focused messages that generate higher customer engagement with our brand.
- Monitor and measure content performance and engagement using tracking and analytics
- Engage with stakeholders and suppliers to acquire product information and images
- Role allows for growth in Digital Marketing, Web Design, Social Media, Photography

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Fishing experience is essential
- You must be an excellent communicator with persuasive writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- A basic understanding of Search Engine Optimisation
- Ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and to operate as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- A strong willingness to learn new skills, and be able to adapt to a highly competitive market
- IT and research skills
- Digital photography/editing
