There is a positive, friendly and encouraging family culture across the business. **About the Supply Chain Administrator role**: A key member of the Supply Chain function working directly for/with the Supply Chain Manager, providing cover during absence from office, holidays, etc. You will monitor requirements and schedule deliveries to meet customer service expectations, along with maintaining and publishing Supply Chain KPI data. Carry out the administration of departmental activities, ensuring relevant information is availableto ll stakeholders. **In addition to this, you will be responsible for**: - Plan, raise, and send purchase orders to suppliers, c/w supporting documentation if required, ensuring accuracy throughout the process. - Where necessary, query any purchase requisitions with the originator. - Review potentially overdue orders and liaise with suppliers to establish both root cause and redefine delivery expectations. - Ensure that purchase order details are accurate and current should changes occur, informing the relevant stakeholders of any potential consequence where necessary. - Support the invoice to GRN reconciliation process as required. - Support the despatch/shipping process in periods of absence/holiday. - Has knowledge of purchasing processes & management of suppliers. - Is familiar with MRP systems and how they work. - Is competent in Excel. - A Purchasing/Supply Chain qualification is desirable, but not essential. - Export & Import of goods experience beneficial. - Experience in a similar office-based administrative role. - Qualified to a A/S level or higher. - An understanding of technical drawings would be beneficial though is not essential.
