**What does the role involve?**
Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement, you will work as part of a team to support the business procurement needs. This will involve working on multiple projects across all of Novuna's business units. This is a hybrid role with the requirement to work on-site at our Staines office a minimum of 1 day a week.
**Some of your key duties will include**:
- Supporting with smaller procurement projects which may involve re-negotiation of contracts and completing a full tendering process
- Approving suppliers and ensuring they are set up correctly to the system (Oracle)
- Maintaining the contract database and updating project logs to ensure everything is up-to-date and accurate
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to exchange knowledge and to support with any procurement enquiries
**What are we looking for?**
You come with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment to deliver a high standard of service to your internal and external stakeholders. You are a natural people person and like to think outside the box and challenge something when it doesn't look quite right. You're keen to use your knowledge and expertise to help strengthen Novuna's needs and are passionate about developing your skills further by working towards your CIPS Certification. You are naturally a process-driven individual who likes to problem-solve. You share the same enthusiasm as the Procurement Team with the desire to build bridges and work as part of a unit.
Also, we're looking for the following:
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Ability to make sound decisions
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience with stakeholder management
