**The Role**

Our People Coordinators are responsible for providing an effective, high-quality service across a range of human resources activities. They are the first point of contact all team members on all people-related queries.

No two days are the same in our People Team, so our Coordinators must have up to date knowledge of employment law and being tech-savvy is also important, as our People Coordinators often identify improvements to both our systems and people processes.

**Main Responsibilities**:
The People Coordinator role is very broad. Duties include - but are not limited to:

- Providing advice and assistance on employment related queries - with reference to, and interpretation of - HR legislation, the Storal Employee Handbook and relevant policies
- Assisting People Partners in providing support across all aspects of people operations to ensure that business needs are met whilst remaining legally compliant and operating in line with best practice guidelines
- Supporting on employee relation case-work - including performance related matters and grievances, performance improvement plans and disciplinaries - by assisting with investigations, preparing paperwork and taking notes
- Ensuring all contractual changes are updated on HR systems in time to process payroll
- Monitoring and managing the DBS system
- Facilitating the transactional elements of key people processes e.g., performance management, talent management, salary and benefits reviews
- Preparing and processing contracts of employment and employment letters - ensuring an efficient process and transparent communication
- Assisting the People team on all matters relating to mergers and acquisitions as required

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- 2 or 3 years experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of HR systems and IT generally
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience working with a high attention to detail, meticulousness and desire to drive the highest standards
- Understanding of UK Employment Law and best practices
- Experience of working in a fast growing company or a large organisation
- CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this desirable

**Terms and Conditions**:

- Base salary of £28,000
- Salaries are usually reviewed in April. You will normally be eligible for a performance based salary review in the April after you join, provided you have been with the organization for at least 6 months.

**Holiday entitlement**:25 days per annum FTE, plus all bank holidays
