The company was started in 2006 and since that date has grown from strength to strength by completing larger developments across the region with our base firmly in Bridgwater, Somerset.

They are seeking a highly motivated Land Buyer/Site Finder to join their growing and dynamic team based in their central London office.

**The Role**
- Sourcing suitable sites and land for acquisition
- Liaising with landowners to negotiate land purchases/acquisitions
- Network with other land buyers and agents to maintain a strong pipeline of potential sites
- Complete high level site appraisals and development appraisals (training provided if necessary)
- Procuring and chasing quotes for planning surveys and reports
- Deal management, chasing and co-ordinating with relevant stakeholder to complete land purchases
- Prepare and submit tenders and offers for new sites in the South West of England (Somerset & Bristol)
- Represent the organisation at a senior level with commercial agents, land brokers, external funders, construction partners, local authorities and other RPs, forging excellent relationships.
- Liaise with consultants, architects, solicitors, site finders, contractors and others in the professional team, ensuring that the most suitable sites are acquired, that the programme meets it's financial targets and housing objectives, and all relevantparties are appropriately briefed and consulted.
- Possess a proactive, commercial and enterprising mindset with a high level of drive and determination
- Have 1 - 5 years of previous experience as a Land Buyer / Site finder, surveyor or estate agent
- Communicate clearly, professionally and confidently with landowners and sellers
- Effective negotiation and persuasion skills and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with excellent presentation skills.
- Enjoy working as part of an ambitious team and also independently
- Able to work on own initiative at this level with excellent numeracy skills and ability to plan, organise and prioritise

**What's on offer**:

- This role can be full-time or part-time, from 1 day per week to 5 days per week
- Either self-employed or permanent PAYE
