We are recruiting a HR Coordinator to join a small team based at our specialist aerospace manufacturing site in Redruth.

You will be kept busy with a lot of varied tasks with all departments of the business. You will be instrumental in ensuring that people are at the forefront of our priorities.

As HR Coordinator, you will have the following accountabilities;
- Responsible for all aspects of HR administration, ensuring the related processes are carried out, including the formulation and continuous improvement of administration Standard Operating Procedures to meet the evolving business needs
- Prepare offers of employment, book induction and onboarding meetings in accordance with site induction plan
- Maintain employee records on HR systems, ensuring that the data is accurate and is input in compliance with the Data Protection Act
- Be the key contact for the Time & Attendance system, advising, training and resolving queries
- To book internal and external training for employees and keeping training records up to date.
- The management of Occupational Health provision and associated health matters for associates, including management of referrals, ensuring the business meets its health and safety obligations and effectively reduces absence.
- Provide HR advice and support to managers and associates.
- Support with Disciplinary, Grievance and Capability matters.
- Manage and oversee maternity and paternity processes and other family friendly leave requests, and where necessary, providing advice and guidance.
- Produce management information as required to support the business, analyse trends and make recommendations
- Used to prioritising own workload and meeting expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organisational skills
- Proactive and able to use initiative and work under minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop strong, professional relationships
- Sound understanding of basic employment legislation
- Self-motivated and a quick learner, capable of multi-tasking and comfortable when working under pressure in a limited time span
- Team player, supportive of all aspects of HR activity and willing to learn/develop within the team environment
